- Order History: To display your previous orders, invoices, and help you re-order your favorites with 1 tap.
- Device Info: Basic phone model and OS version to prevent app crashes and ensure security against fraud.
3. Location & GPS Tracking (Clear Disclosure)
Here is exactly how your location is handled:
- While Using The App (Foreground): We pinpoint your delivery location so you don't have to manually type long addresses every time.
- Shared with Assigned Driver: Once an order or ride is confirmed, your pickup/drop location is shared only with the assigned delivery partner to complete your trip.
- No Secret Tracking: We do not track your background location when the app is closed or unused.
4. Why We Need Your Data
We use your information exclusively for healthy, everyday services:
- To dispatch your food, groceries, medicines, or parcels to the right address.
- To connect you with nearby auto/cab drivers or certified home technicians.
- To send order updates, live driver arrival alerts, and OTP verification via SMS/Firebase.
- To provide friendly customer support if you need assistance with an order.
- To protect your account against unauthorized access or duplicate accounts.

- Account Safeguard: You are responsible for keeping your phone and OTP confidential. TownSaathi is not liable for transactions resulting from sharing your OTP with others.
- External Links & Third Parties: When you pay via third-party UPI apps (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm), their respective privacy policies apply to the payment transaction.
- Policy Updates: We may occasionally update this policy to reflect new app features. Any significant updates will be notified through the app or website.
